Daughter of the Storm

This 5x7 greeting card from my Ethereal Creations fine art line is another glimpse into the world of my Afrofuturistic, sci-fi inspired series Daughters of the Deep: The Water Remembers..

What began for me as a single short story has become something greater—a mythology carried by the N’yari, mystical daughters of the water, who rise when the world has forgotten its connection to the sea and nature in general.

In this piece, seated in stillness, yet alive with power. Her glowing heart is a beacon, her body carrying the constellations of memory, her crown vast as the storm itself. She is both peace and thunder, a reminder that the N’yari embody duality: grace and fury, silence and song, the calm tide and the crashing wave.

I share her now with you as an 8×10 print—a companion for reflection, empowerment, or remembrance. And like The Water Remembers, she is more than a single image. She is a doorway into a larger story that is only beginning to unfold. The N’yari are rising, and their voices will soon be heard.

This is only the beginning. The tides are shifting, and soon more of their Afrofuturistic journey will be revealed.
